Wagyu

Kobe beef is wonderful. Although I've never tried US breed Kobe-style beef, I'd like to some day. Here's an interesting read on the subject.

Pain

Pain = 1 glass of Heineken + 1 shot of Absolut Citron. Add the shot to a large beer glass, then pour in the Heineken.

I had 3 pains last night, plus a couple more beers. Thankfully, not too much pain this morning, but it was difficult getting up. I'm scared though, there might be a video of me playing DDR floating around the internet.

Uh-oh!

My MPx200 smartphone is not happy. I woke up this morning at 5am to it beeping for power, so I plugged it in. When I woke up for real, it wasn't charging, strange.

2004 Luzon

2004 Luzon (Monastrell/Syrah blend)
Jumilla Spain

I don't think I can recall a Spanish wine that has ever disappointed me, this 2004 Luzon was no exception. It was a deep purple color, full bodied, plenty of fruit, and a long finish. Tonight I drank it with some pasta, but it probably called for a steak. At $7.99 (Central Market), I feel like picking up a case.

Fun with smartphone

I've been using SmartPhone 2002 software on my MPx200 for the past couple weeks, after I found a very stable version that worked well. Voice quality was better than the previous WM2003 hack I first installed, and I could even manage my SIM. Next I started playing around with customized homescreens, by downloading and manipulating the xml files. It was fun, but I definately need to read a little more about xml.

Curiosity finally got the best of me, however. I had been reading about the "Cartman" rom; a WM2003 hack that supposedly worked very well. So, last night I decided to try and install a different version of WM2003 I had previously downloaded, titled "SuperMoto." Low and behold, I after a hardreset it booted up with an image of Cartman, yay! After using this rom for a day, it appears to be good: voice quality is great and reception seem good so far. I'll know after a week whether this version is a keeper. I can always go back to 2002.
